Rollbit appears to be operating without a valid Curaçao license again, according to X users

On 9 September, users on X flagged a sequence of events around Rollbit: the operator kept posting promotional material while access to the gaming platform was reportedly unavailable for several hours, then came back with a Curaçao license badge marked “revoked.” For PSPs and acquiring partners, the detail that matters is simple: licensing status can change faster than the public-facing site does, and social media tends to notice first.

1. According to posts on X, Rollbit’s account continued publishing routine marketing content even as players said they could not access the gaming platform for several hours. That is the kind of mismatch that usually gets attention fast in high-risk circles: the front office is still shouting, while the back end has apparently gone quiet.
2. During that same window, posts began circulating about the Curaçao license being revoked or annulled. The Curaçao license register shows that Rollbit’s authorization expired on 23 May 2026. In the CGA licensee list, the permit for Bull Gaming, which operates Rollbit, is currently marked as expired.
3. Several hours later, access to the gaming platform was restored. The operator’s website now shows a Curaçao license icon with the label “revoked.” For merchants, processors, and banks, that combination is the thing to check: restored access is not the same as clean licensing status.
4. This is not the first time Rollbit’s Curaçao status has been discussed publicly. In March-April 2023, reports also surfaced that the operator had lost its island license, and RLB, Rollbit’s token, fell by more than 20% amid the social media noise. Rollbit later said the license information had disappeared from its site because of the regular annual renewal process.
5. As of now, the operator has not commented on the latest incident.

For high-risk payment providers, the practical takeaway is not the social media drama itself, but the compliance signal underneath it: if a merchant’s public license status, platform access, and marketing activity are moving out of sync, the onboarding and monitoring teams will want to know before the next settlement file lands on their desk.
