Jumio expands selfie.DONE globally in Q3 2026, with 75 million-identity graph and stronger AI fraud detection

Jumio said it completed the global rollout of selfie.DONE in Q3 2026, extended its AI fraud-detection models, and added customers across several sectors that care a lot about onboarding friction and fraud losses. For PSPs, acquirers, and banks serving high-risk verticals, the detail that matters is simple: fewer document scans for trusted users, higher verification completion, and stronger defenses against deepfakes and impersonation.

  1. Jumio completed the worldwide deployment of selfie.DONE, extending its reusable identity product to North America, Asia-Pacific, and EMEA after its initial launch in Latin America.
  2. The product runs on Jumio’s consent-based global identity graph, which contains more than 75 million identities and grows by approximately 85,000 daily. Jumio says selfie.DONE lets trusted returning users register and verify with just a selfie, removing repeated ID-document scans from the flow.
  3. The company said deployments have delivered up to a 20% increase in completed verification rates, and up to 60% of returning users verified without documents. For operators, that is the kind of metric that shows up directly in conversion and support load.
  4. Jumio also said its latest AI models detect up to 70% more deepfakes than previous generations, while liveness-detection improvements increased impersonation detection by up to 30%. That is relevant for any business where account takeovers, synthetic identities, and fake-face attacks are becoming standard operating conditions rather than edge cases.
  5. During the quarter, Jumio said it expanded its customer base globally across several sectors, including a popular European dating app, one of Singapore’s leading telecommunications companies, and an innovative casino and prediction market platform. The company also hired a strategic leadership executive and said its platform handled major global events with what it described as proven scalability.
